The red cross is a liberal organization. Check out Margaret Sanger contributions. Sanger was an early 20th century American Leninist who started the modern feminist movement. She used feminism to push a racist and ethnic cleansing agenda.
Don't take my word for it, follow my link below to other links that will show you why blacks were not accepted into the red cross.

as far as i know they didn't have any black people that had the education during world war one that would have stepped forward. people where very raciest then in ww2 they had black nurses but they served with other blacks. now we have anyone who wants to serve. I'm a 39 year white male i have a black dentist and my family Dr is black i picked them because they had the right qualification's not for the color of theyer skin

They are not refusing now. Many things have changed for many organization in the last 90 years. The A.R.C. is a wonderful organization run mostly by volunteers. What is it that you are really after?

Discrimination from decades ago has no place in today's discussion. Yes, it was wrong. But its not happening anymore. So why is it soooo important to bring up past injustices that have been rectified???
