put the water in an ice tray for making icecubes.
any glass will work, it is all in the proportions. a drink will be approx 1 ounce of mix drink, so if you use a glass, use a half glass of vodka and a couple of spoonfuls of martini bianco. An extra dry gives proportions in the terms of 7 parts vodka to 1 of martini, so you are in that area...
pour the mix over the ice cubes in a shaker (if you don't have a shaker, use an empty screw-top jar, pour in, add ice cubes), shake shake shake, and serve in glasses wih a toothpick decorated with 2-3 olives.
Note that technically, you are making vodka martinis. classics would require gin.
Some ppl say that shaking "bruises" the liquor... in that case, you stir (hey, a spoon, and stir stir stir....)

Time out here people, if you dont have Gin you cant make a martini. There is no vodka in a martinni. if youre 21 go and get some Gin and dry (usually a green label) vermouth. If youre under 21 just get a friend to do it. If you are going more for taste, i suggest either Beefeater gin, it's expensive, but the taste is much better
To make up:
put ice in large glass
pour shot of gin
add 2 drops dry vermouth
stir and strain into a fancier glass that hold around one and a half to 2 ouces
make normal
get a 3 oz glass put ice in it
pour a shot of gin
add 2 drops dry vermouth
mix
garnish with either a olive (matinni) or an onion (gibson)

Martini Bianco is a dry vermouth so with the vodka you'll have all of the ingredients for a vodka martini.
Fill a tall glass with ice.
Add just a few drops of vermouth.
Add 2 oz. vodka.
Cover and shake or stir, pour into serving glass.
Add olives and enjoy.
ps - If you want a REAL martini, use gin instead of vodka.

If you have no vermouth, or don't like it you can make a dirty martini using green olive juice.
Fill a shaker or glass with ice, add vodka and just a tiny bit of olive juice, stir or shake and drink...yum
