maybe you might want to try using a different shampoo, also dont go to sleep with wet hair, you get a headache the next day anyway. Make sure you dry your hair each time you wash it, dry it fully and completely. Im sure the smell will go away if you do that. Anything left wet will probably smell weird.

Usually washing it helps. If you are washing it maybe it's because you're leaving the hair wet. Um does "Wet dog" come to mind? Try using a daily clarifying shampoo and at least towel dry you're hair. If all else fails get yourself some fresh rosemarry, lemon grass, and lavendar and soak the fresh herbs for several days. Use the mix from this and put in a spray bottle, and spray you're hair as needed. Being they are natural herbs they won't leave a nasty residue or anything and it helps keep your hair smelling fresh. Plus it's beneficial to your scalp

I have used Garnier and I liked the way it smelled in the bottle, but it smelled disgusting in my hair!! Try Herbal Essenses dangerously straight it comes in a pink bottle. I use it and if someone hugs me they always compliment the way my hair smells! When washing your hair, scrub the shampoo into your scalp. Many people make the mistake of just putting the shampoo on your hair. Scalps are what makes hair smell bad!! Hope this helps. =)

Hi,
I use the Aussie products on my hair, they smell divine and make your hair soft and it really shines. I sometimes go to bed with damp hair but it never smells in the morning. Give it a try its not an expensive product this may be the one that works for you.

You should try herbal essences "dangerously straight". I use it too and i love the way it smells. In fact it smells like that for 2 days straight. You should also try using a leave in conditioner.

Try drying it completely before you go to bed, maybe it's still damp and that's causing the smell. Or try washing it in the am. and then it will smell fresher.
Maybe your shampoo conflicts with your body chemistry, try switching shampoos.
Good luck!

Your hair smells because you had wet hair when you went to bed. Let it dry by putting it down. You can try spraying body spray, just a little.

Maybe you should turn and try using herbal essence. It has a very nice smell to it. Also, try using a leave in conditioner that smells more fruity like.

Whether you know it or not, you sweat in your sleep. Your hair follicles produce a oil that protects the hair, but attracts dirt too. That dirt attracts dust mites, which are in your bed. They are in everyone's beds, so don't think you are being unclean.
So wash your hair in the morning instead, if this bothers you.
