Err no! Kitty just reminds me a a small cat. She maybe should have gone for Katherine and let her daughter decide later in life if she wanted to be called Kitty!

I wanted to call my little one Kitty Mae, I know two little girls and one teenager called Kitty, I don't think that they get the mick taken out of them at all. My partner didn't want it so we ended up calling my youngest Anabelle but shes known as Annie Boo!

I kinda like that to be honest, and I think Jonathen Ross ahs a daughter called honey-kinny or something like that, and Johnny Vegas's wife was called Kitty.

as long as she loves her... kids will pick on her but what kid doesnt experience their name being picked on..

My name is christal.. seems common but all the kids called me crystal ball or gem or diamond or crystal pistol or worse CRISSY ....lol anyway as long as she loves her... her daughter will change it or have people call her her middle name... If u think of it most kids end up with a nick name that is worse like BOO BOO or Ki Ki or Bubba or Sissy

I don't really like it either, but it isn't our child so it isn't our place to say. I think it is the type of name that grows on you once you know the child, though.

I personally don't like it - I tend to prefer more 'traditional' names.

That said, I've got an unusual name, but it is foreign and it means something - I like names like that, but not names that are just trying to sound 'cool'.

I think it would be a cute nickname, but not as the given name. I hope that in school she is popular so that she doesn't get made fun of.
