my amazon parrot is 28 years old and we just got her from a old woman my dad nows and know that she has got comfortable with everyone in the family she has started to chew everything in her sight included my sidekick3 god help her and the computer the telephone weve tried everything in the book so if you have any thing that worked for you please help

Parrots natural behavior is to chew everything they can get their beaks on and the only way to stop this hapeninng is to restrict her enviroment. Either keep her locked in a large cage when you are not with her or have her wings clipped so that she cannot fly about to cause damage. Clipping is not cruel if it is done correctlt by a professional, I do it free in my store for bird owners.

make sure he had a lot of wood bird toys for him to chew when he is in his cage. When he is out of his cage get him a play gym where you can hang more toys. You are not going to stop the chewing behavior so you need to provide him with acceptable things to chew.

Don't let anything you don't want chewed up in her reach. And get her some toys. Shredded newspaper and fabric strips also make good playthings.
