And why isn't he interested in appeasing Iran over theirs?

Isn't this being hypocritical?

It's not Bush that is pressuring North Korea to end its nuclear program, as much as you would like to believe this in a lame effort to villify and blame Bush for everything. It's a total of six nations that are putting the pressure on North Korea, with Communist China being one of them.

Any comparison between North Korea and Iran is like comparing apples and oranges. North Korea has stated that its political and military desire is to reunite the two countries into one; of course, this would have to be under Communist rule, and the South Koreans - along with the rest of the world - have said that this ain't gonna happen. North Korea poses a threat to South Korea, and that's it.

Iran, on the other hand, poses a threat to just about everyone. This is a country whose president has publicly called for the total destruction of Israel, and one who follows the radical teachings of Islam which state that all "unbelievers," or "infidels," who refuse to accept Islam as the one true religion and Allah as the one true god should be put to death. Wanna guess what he'll do if he gets his hands on a nuke?

Instead of trying to dream up new things to lay the blame for on President Bush, why don't you try becoming more familiar with the true facts about world events?

Good question.N Korea has been a threat to the US longer and this helps him in showing the other side of the isle that he can work with people to get things done.

I believe Iran will be a much longer process that won't be finished until the next President is mid way throe their first term.

Yes, they're the SAME country, and should be treated identically. They should drop all considerations of region, government, leaders, motives, and capabilities. You should ONLY consider the fact that both have nuclear programs. Then, throw in some smarmy politics.

Good question.

I don't know. How many million did it cost US tax payers when Clinton gave them nuclear reactors back in the 1990s?
