Scientists typically do much better work when they're allowed to study something they are interested in and something that their skill set fits in to.

We don't do as well when our research is dictated by some guy on the internet.

However, since you're so concerned, one can only assume that you're well on your way to the appropriate education to begin researching issues that concern you? :P

There are approximately 6 Billion people on this earth. Of that number I am sure that research is ongoing in a variety of areas, all of which are important. Different groups focus on different things and that allows for a diversification in our research areas and may benefit us more than a single purpose. While global warming is an issue, the areas that affect that are also diversified, CO2, Deforestation, synthetic fuels, etc. The majority of our major discoveries have been through a concept known as serendipity, found by accident when looking for something else. I know there is a problem but I am optimistic that we are not the largest mistake that evolution has made.

Come on white human beings isn't the in trouble-free words one pastime in outer area there human beings from different races that are too. A reason someone will be pastime in outer area is that there would nicely be yet another plant like Earth that has existence or the position lets proceed to exist even as Earth get spoil in the a lengthy way distance destiny. It turned right into a rumor in the ninety's that some creature(alien) from area hit Earth and the FBI become hiding it and did not enable everybody see it. i do not recognize no matter if it truly is real or no longer, yet that in all likelihood the reason scientists are so wanting to understand if some thing is fairly obtainable.

Damage to the earth's enviroment and changes in weather.

Well they are monitored and researched from satellites in space!!! Weather, warming, deforestation are learning about by space satellites taking pictures. Ozone depletion too....

Improvements in efficencies of solar power. Many are a result of the space program.

As for the climate models such as GLOBAL warming. They are tested and examined by looking at the atmospheres of other planets. That helps us learn what CAN happen here.

How about causes for past planetary disasters (caused by metors) if we can understand what they are better we can understand what damage they did in the past and how the earth recovered. Such understanding helps with current problems with the environment. AGAIN learned from study of outer space.

Is global warming caused by humans? We need to have a model of how the sunlight is interacting with our enviroment. To do that we need to understand the sun better. ANOTHER SPACE PROBE THERE.

Without our space program we would not even know the earth was having global warming. I can say that with near certainty.
Hope I made my point without pushing my hangover to make me think of even more reasons.

So you want to spend more money on cheap fuels? Kind of a contradiction isn't it? If those fuels are cheap, then we wouldn't have to spend more money on them. But a lot of money IS ALREADY being spend on such research, and the space program has done a lot of it. Solar panels and fuel cells were developed for use in space because there is no air or oil there for power.

We are researching about outer space more than exploring eath or more than trying to control futuristic environmental cadustrophy , because as we are informed today that when earth's core will stop burning then it will lose its maximum of its gravity then human-civilisation will undoutedly destroyed , and it is not possible for us to resist it . And so this space exploration could lead us to a new planet same as earth where we may be able to keep our existance. So I think space exploration is more important .

Don't forget some of the greatest discoveries in science occurred while in the research for something else...most science is beneficial and advances our knowledge and progress. You never perhaps someone while researching how mechanics work in space will discover something power better batteries for cars.

studying outer space is very important, though i do not deny the fact that we do need to control the environment.if a meteorite were to fall on the earth's surface, due to unawareness a lot of damage may happen. we need to do so , to prepared what the future hold for us

studying outer space gives us knowlege of our own planet and vice versa...

planetary motion, about satellites etc.....

well socrates/coppernicus found out that earth revolves round the sun and not otherwise

If we only studied our planet, then we would have still thought that earth is the center of the universe.....

knowledge of space will help us to better understand our own planet....
