The symptoms you are talking about could be from a pituitary disorder. The pituitary gland (master gland) controls the thyroid and other glands. Some of your symptoms sound like low adrenal function and possibly some other hypo issues. You really should see a good Endocrinologist to do a workup on your pituitary function: cortisol, sex hormones, growth hormone, etc.

There are two basic types of thyroid problem. Hypothyroidism (too little thyroid hormome) is probably the most common and people tend to gain weight. Hyperthyroidism (too much thyroid hormone) is likely to cause weight loss.
Maybe you have hyperthyroidism and your medicine isn't working, or maybe you have hypothyroidism and your medicine is working too well. I have pretty good basic knowledge about Anatomy and Physiology, but it's better if you just talk to your doctor. You might have another problem that isn't even related to your thyroid or the medicine.

An under active thyroid will cause weight gain.
An overactive thyroid will cause weight loss.
You are most likely on too high a dose of your meds, talk to your doctor

Blue Buffalo is an extraordinarily nutrient dense food. There is a excellent risk he wasn't eating a lot of it since of his dental issues. Now that his tooth don't seem to be hurting, he's eventually consuming good! I do not consider it might have something to do together with his neuter, but the whole lot to do with his enamel. Extra then seemingly, you might be just feeding him an excessive amount of! The feeding directions for his size canine are just one/2 cup to 1 cup depending on vigor stage for that meals. Due to the fact that he is gaining so fast, you without doubt have got to begin measuring his meals. A half cup is an awfully small quantity, your in general feeding a lot more than that!

Hyper-active thyroid (too active), causes weight loss,
Hypo-active Thyroid (not active enough), causes weight
gain. Check with your Doctor, you will probably find that
your thyroid is Hyper-active.
