for people (young or old) who wear them. would you? if neccesary?

It is indeed better than no teeth. However, I think I will just keep doing my best to make sure that I never need them. If I ever do, I think I'll splurge and go for the implants.

no, no, no. dentures have to be relined every 6 months... and remade every 2 years. they cost, on average, $2,000-$3,000 and never act the same as real teeth, no matter what. if by any means possible you can keep any teeth in your head at all, do it! i'm a dental assistant, and have seen way too many people (young and old) come in and ask to have all of their teeth removed and have dentures put in... this is a completely IRREVERSABLE process! and not one of them was happy about having it done afterwards.

if it's the only choice you have between teeth or no teeth then do what you must - however there is NO substitute made by man that can even hope to compete with what God gave us to begin with.

Yes they are a good thing, especially if you don't have $50,000 to do implants.
