The best way to lose weight is to change your diet and get a good amount of excersize. You need to get a good amount of fruits and vegetables daily, and if you eat meat a portion no bigger than the palm of your hand is just right, anything more is going to make it just that more difficult to lose weight. Starches are a good thing to not have so much of as well (potatoes, corn, bread.) Also drink plenty of water, 8-10 8oz. glasses a day, at least. Also it's a good idea to throw in some friuit and vegetable juices too. Avoid processed foods and canned foods. Avoid Partially Hydrogenated oils, and High Fructose Corn Syrup. Check out a book at your library called 'You on a Diet'. DO NOT TAKE ANY KIND OF WEIGHT LOSS PILLS!! If you do, you will gain your weight back when you stop taking them, and they are hazardous to your health. I wouldn't recommend weight watchers type clubs either. You have to have the will to do it. There is also a 6 day diet, called the Inner Klean Diet, it's a good diet to start with. It cleans out your body completely, and you'll feel the energy on that 6th day!
As far as the hairdo, I don't know what you ook like so I really can't say.

Losing weight is easy. Here's what you do. And stick to it.
Don't eat anything past 6pm. M-F. Don't mix your proteins and your carbs, meaning no meat with pasta and no meat with potatoes. Exercise at least 45 minutes at least 5 days a week, lay off the sugar and soda. Give yourself one day during the weekend to treat yourself. As you keep doing this, you will find that your body does not crave treats and when you can splurge, you won't as much! Expect to see results in 6 weeks.

Start but cutting out the crap you normally eat and replace it with some fruit, Then start doing some exersise, like walking or jogging. Its best to do your exersise in the morning before work then you will feel good for the rest of the day.
Not sure about the hair doo... sorry!
Maybe check out some hair styling sites...

For the weight: exercise almost every day for at least 30 minutes. You'll be surprised how quickly you'll start losing weight just by increasing your activity level if you're not exercising every day. And drink a lot of water.

Hi! I joined weight-watchers last October and have now lost 3 stone!! It works on a points system where your food and drinks contain points and you have a daily points allowance (You don't eat more than your points allowance).
As far as a new hairstyle why not grow it!!

Drink lots of water (divide your weight in half....then drink that many ounces of water each day). Exercise at least 30 minutes a day. Eat more fruits and veggies. Avoid trans fats (found in butter, oleo, etc). Cut back on soda if you drink a lot of it.
