TERRORISM is one of the most serious challenges that the world faces today. Was this the same world which Gandhi and Nehru dreamt of?? NO, IT WASN’T. But we have made it. But then every single thing in this world is done with an aim or motto. We earn to buy food and clothes, we eat food to live, we study so that we can get a job and live happily in future. Even in sleeping there is an aim – to get rest. In the same way, terrorist also have some goals and aims. They have a reason for each and every step they take, each and every human they kill. There are some terrorist who kill people of their own country. It is because they don’t get those rights which others get. These cases are mostly found in countries which are under a single ruler. Therefore, democracy should be installed in each and every country so that every citizen of that country gets equal rights and freedoms. Many a times, it so happens that a country allows only a particular religion to be there, which leads to religious disputes between two countries. Therefore there should be no bondages for caste, race and religion. All countries should be a secular country where we have the right to choose any religion. To end terrorism, we should forget about the bad deeds done by our ancestors. We should not waste our time and capital in thinking about past and taking revenge of what was done earlier. Instead, we should work and live in present, think and make plans to be implemented in future. We should make new treaties and agreements with each other and work to save our planet earth.

"War on Terrorism" or "Freeing the world from Terrorism" This really bugs me! To me it's just another way of saying "crusade against all evil" or a "cleansing of the world"

One has too much flexibility with this term. I mean lions, sharks, wolves all create terror. Does that mean they're terrorist? Yet, we all know that these creatures need to survive in a world just as hostile. It comes with the territory.

Terrorism is like evil, to me. You will drive yourself insane if you make the effort to rid of all of it no matter how big an Army one may have. Man, himself, just can't do it. You may minimize terrorism in certain small areas. But it's a game of "whack-a-mole"

Free yourself from thinking that terrorism is an Identifiable Entity. Because it's not. Iran thinks U.S. are terrorist and U.S. thinks Iran are terrorist. To say that one can clearly identify terrorist is blasphemy! For some of your ideals may be to much for me maybe even evil in my eyes.

Every culture, ethnicity, nation and organization is going to have different approaches with varying motives. With that fact present, the only answer is for everyone to listen and be tolerant. If the world plays the "me vs. you" attitude like it has for centuries, terrorism will only fuel itself, rather than extinguish itself.
