wanted to build a radio controlled aircraft as a project for my engg. where do i start?can i get any plans for them?

Why not impress the class with some thing capable, cheap and simple? Could even call it recycling if you want.

At some stage you will have to buy something, so a hobbies shop is the place to start. There will also be a wealth of information available if its a good shop.
