When you fall asleep at work just make sure your face lands on the keyboard... not the desk!

Doesn't worry me too much, I'm not a clean freak. But yes it is true, restroom surfaces get cleaned with disinfectant all the time, desks often don't get cleaned at all or just get dusted with a cloth or something. In a recent study here, the dirtiest item in a hospital room was the tv remote, the toilet seat only came somewhere at number five or something.

This is why, when I had a desk job I kept a can of Lysol, and a container of disinfecting wipes in my desk. My phone and desktop got sprayed 2-3 times a day...more during cold and flu season, and I used the wipes to clean the keyboard...especially if someone else used it. I rarely got sick.

Be careful you do not lick your desk - there is no telling what the cleaning staff of your office was doing on there during the evening hours.
