All should be subject to proof, Mr. President. (Please!) Even a kid knows to look both ways before crossing the street.

I'm afraid I don't follow your line of thinking. Iraq did have a WMD programme and Saddam did murder at least 300 000 of his own citizens- not counting the 1 milion dead after his agression of Iran. Waiting for over 1 year (thank you UN) before attacking gave Saddam time to move his gear- that is all.
As to Iran- all the mad mullahs have to do to secure peace is stop sending money, sabotage instructors and bombs to Iraq, Lebanon and other states. If they stopped saying "we shall destroy the US and Israel" at every opportunity might also help. That is as far as the international relations are concerned. Of course one would love to see some progress in terms of human rights in Iran- eg. maybe they could stop murdering the women who complain about being raped. Killing men accused of consensual homosexual behaviour is also a bit of over reaction IMO. But what I find most annoying was when a judge ordered a 15 year old girl witness hanged - without trial - because "she had a sharp tongue".
What you seem not to notice- or deliberately do not WANT to notice- is that the human massacre is going on RIGHT NOW in places like Iran, Sudan, China, Burma, Vietnam - in "peacetime". The fact that CNN does not make headlines of it does not make this systematic murder and slavery vanish
(no worries, they will make it into headlines the moment they can figure how to blame it on Bush)

You have never been to Iraq, that is obvious. One huge worry is the advanced IED's detonating during a convey or on patrol. Iraq does not possess the tecnology to develop and manfacture the bombs and explosive advanced armor piercing IED's being used in Iraq. This is NOT new news. Intel has known for over two (2) years now. Some in Congress are hollering, "We can't prove that Irans highest offices in Government have ordered these weapons into Iraq." What difference does that make? They ARE coming from Iran and that MAKES the Iranian Government officials responsible to stop them.

This is the problem with the media in the US...it's unbelievably liberal. We have found weapons in Iraq, in fact they were chemical bombs containing a sarin nerve agent. And we have found over 500 of these.
Anyway, regarding this question, the Iranians are definitly linked to the extremist group inside Iraq, they are obviously supplying them because we are there, the Iraqis are not capable of manufacturing new bombs while we are in their backyard! This is stupid. And Iran should get taken out, if not by us, hopefully by the Israelis, I hope they do to Iran what they did to Iraq in 1980. The Iranians are saying Israel has no right to exist, the Holocaust never happened and that once they get their Nuke Program running, they will "Wipe Israel off the face of the map." I think the world should wipe out Muslim extremists like we did to the Nazis in WWII. I am adding a report from NGIC which was declassified in 2003, I believe. Educate yourself.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!! AND OUR TROOPS!!!!!!!
Lidakamo- I would like to ask you a question...what happened when President Clinton had the chance to take Osama Bin Laden out TWICE? Nothing!!! And the Trade Center and 3,000 American lives were destroyed because of that!
Mowri- Right..."never believe in Fox"...yeah...I would rather put all my stock into the Communist News Network (CNN). Don't be stupid. Fox tells stories from a right-wing perspective, but at least they DO put liberals on to argue their side. No other News Channel has a bi-partisan view in the least! Oh-and this report was on the Fox website, but if it from the National Ground Intelligence Center (part of our Army). Fox News could not have made this up!

do you believe that Iran is using their nuclear technology solely for production of energy? why is Ahmedinejad refusing to allow IAEA inspectors in to witness? Why are the Iranians posturing so offensively? Why have they threatened the existence of Israel & questioned the truth of the holocaust?
The truth in Iraq is that there have been WMD's in that country. quite possibly moved into neighboring Syria before the invasion. There are very close political ties with the Baath party in both countries & we all know how much Syria & Iran have in common.
It boils down to how you can trust Ahmedinejad to any capacity.

It is like the RAJA's regime . Were the Raja will invade always were the wealth is abundant.Like this previously he hit Iraq and dragged away all the oil wealth to his country. As on date a litter petrol cost nearly Rs 20/ in USA.For another 20 years the USA need not worry about the OIL.So now his Eye is on Iran.

Yes, but be very couscous, the man is a proven liar. Never take for granted that he is lying this time, however Iran has motive and that is to cause as much trouble in Iraq as they can.

There is no doubt that Iran is sending EFP's, IED's, and other weapons to Iraq along with Revolutionary Guard soldiers.
That's a fact and we have witnessed that first hand.
What's not clear is if the Iranian government sent them or if they were just Islamic mercenaries.
I have my own opinion of it, however.

Hamid ... I prefer to simplify and restate the question in this way:
Who do you trust more with a nuclear weapon capability?
(Choose one from below)
A. The United States who already has enough weapons to wipe out the world, but has threatened no one.
B. Iran, whose political leader has encouraged and threatened the total destruction of Israel. (See my links below to substantiate the premise of this statement.)

Once bitten twice shy. I believe whatever anyone else says but Bush's statements are to be taken with a pinch of salt :-) Another American enemy is being created by Bush. I am not sure he is really working in the interest of fellow Americans - he is like a single kid who is being pampered.
