Stir fry Trout?
I might have to place you under arrest.

Trout is such a delicious, delicate fish that I believe you would be committing a crime to subject it to stir frying.

Pan fry, yes.
Broiled Trout, of course.
But, I fear that a stir fry will just tend to toughen the meat making it less than appealing.
But, I don't speak from experience...I could be wrong on all counts.
A better choice of fish, if stir frying is your weapon of choice, would be perhaps cod.

Why would you pre cook the fish. Fish cooks in a very short time and does not need to be pre cooked for stirfry.

I eat stirfry every day here in Asia and we never pre cook anything before stirfry.

I like trout and doubt if I would want to stirfry it but if you think it wjould be good then give it a try. Leave out the baby corn though. Baby corn often has a musty taste and would ruin the fish.

I'd have to agree with Gene L. Trout has a delicate flavour. Best way would be to pan fry with butter, maybe a tiny bit of garlic after dredging in salt and peppered flour , then serve with lemon wedges. Why not just stirfry your veggies and serve as a side dish?

It would probably taste good, but fish will fall apart if you stir fry it, so it won't look very pretty.

instead of oven cooking first, to prevent it falling apart try cuting into chunks and deep frying it, that should help retain the texture in the wok!
good luck
