Increased patrols using both Police & Army to keep an eye on the joint, a shoot-to-kill policy on all theft / drug / weapon crimes when criminals are caught in the act & don't immediately surrender, SAS style commando assaults on buildings in neighbourhoods known to harbour criminals.
Desperate times like the South African crime problem often call for desperate measures liable to make left-wing human rights activists cringe.

Have more police officers patroling the street, harsh punishment for the criminals. dont keep them just locked up make them clean streets for 16 hours a day for 2 years. believe me S A will be clean and crime free
