Because the suitcase is usually behind them and they can't see the havoc they are causing! Why do they always travel in rush hour and stop at the most inconvenient places at train and tube stations?

Its because they probably have never had to walk beside or behind anyone with a wheelie suitcase. I was in the airport some time ago where this woman was walking past me and then she cut in front of me causing the suitcase to roll over my foot. She lost control of the suitcase and it ended up rolling over and out of her hand. She gave me a dirty look as if I had done something to her.

Everyone owns wheelie suitcases these days and most people in train stations and airports are hacked off anyway and likely to act arrogant.

know what you mean there mate. I've been run over countless times. must admit I'm guilty of the same thing though - dodgy wheels - case gone in bin now. all users should have rear view mirrors attached to their person and the cases should have brakes and lights!

ps I'm an Alonso fan too

wheelie suit case owners are mostly seen at airports and are usually in one big hurry so keep out of their way and help them.
