Self control becomes easier with practice, I say that as a person who was 400lb before I started eating right!
Look at the GI Diet, its helps give you sustained energy and is very healthy. It does not need classes, just a book which can be bought for a few £/$s. You don't need will power, you need determination. Just think of all the health problems you are inviting by being overweight. It took the materialization of those problems to kick me into gear!

get someone to do all the hard work for you, you want to improve your health generally, lose weight and have more energy then getting some nutritional help is vital. Once your body starts to absorb the right nutrients and vitamins and protein then you’ll be amazed how quickly you will feel the difference, usually within the first 48 hours if you get the right supplements and help. I had no energy and felt just generally rotten all round so I sought the advice of a nutritional coach (whose advice was FREE) and got myself some great products, I even got free samples before I got started so I could see just how good they were!! There is a website called myhealthabc.com If go on there and fill out the details page you will get a call with no pressure about what you need. There is a mall area as well that’s got some great info and its all set out with easy to follow headings so you can find what you want. It’s so easy and the stuff they have is excellent. I have been using their products for over two years and I feel great. I lost 70 pounds in less than seven months!! My sister lost 60 pounds in five months. The stuff is amazing. Try them you won’t be disappointed

1. Eating right is a lot easier than you thing! I've learned that if I don't have the food at my house to eat, I'm not going to be able to eat it. Simply stop buying food you know is bad for you and stick to the good stuff.
2. You don't have to give up chocolate all together! Having a few Hershey's Kisses isn't going to cause you to tip the scale. If you want your diet to work, you have to be realistic with yourself. Don't try and give up everything you love. If you do that, you'll be back to your old habits in a heartbeat. Instead try limiting how much of it you are eating, or use it as motivation! Every time you work out, you get a certain amount of chocolate. It really helps.
3. I think the best advice I've ever gotten about motivation is even if you really don't want to go to the gym, put on you work out clothes and go anyways. If you get to the gym and you STILL don't want to work out, then turn around and go home. But chances are that once you're there, you'll follow through with it.
Hope that helps some!

Try Weight Watchers for a month. If you can't overcome thinking that you won't buy the right foods or control yourself to eat the proper portion, you will never be able to successfully loose the weight.
I joined WW in January of this year and love it! I am a person that if I see food -- I eat it. I have learned successfully gone out to dinner and been able to split my plate in half and that is all that I eat. They help you think in a different way and it really works. Weight loss is a lifetime goal, not just trying to lose 15 pounds by the weekend.
Try the diet and then after a month you will feel like you want to exercises and you will feel better about it as you are already loosing weight.
Good Luck!

1. Sounds good. You want to learn how to be healthy for the rest of your life rather than just quickly lose weight.
2. You probably have a lot more than you think. If you feel tempted, just stop yourself and think. You can drink a glass of water and wait five minutes when you feel a craving. A lot of cravings go away after five minutes, and sometimes when you think you want food, you're really just dehydrated.
3. I have the same problem. After school, I really do NOT want to change out of my school clothes, hunt around the house for some warm running clothes, get my running shoes on, get my cellphone, get my keys, call my parents to tell them where I am, and I definitely do NOT want to run those first five minutes. Once I make it those first five minutes? I don't care. I'll run for twenty minutes, or forty. Up big hills? Bring it on. Those first five-ten minutes of exercise suck because your body is resisting. Once you make it past that, it becomes sooo much easier. If you're doing an activity/exercise you enjoy, you might even extend the time and intensity you were going to do it for. I've said I'll do 30 minutes, get 30 minutes in, say "what the heck" and go for 45. If you pick an activity you really enjoy and just get past those first 5-10 minutes, motivation generates itself, sometimes.
