my fiance and myself had an emal/phone arugement on monday morning and have not spoke since and also we live together, how long has someone in this type of relationship went without speaking ?

Maybe an hour at the most, but usually there is some words spoken, even if they are just an excuse me, or thank you, but it shouldn't go more than an hour.
If its been 3 days, its time for you to break that. Just start being nice, until they give in. Not talking to someone you live with is kinda silly, don't you think?

I have been living with my Fiancee 5 years now and we have gone through the NOT speaking stage. The longest I can hold out is 3 days and then I get H***** and give in. Heck no sense in punishing myself.

Not speaking to someone is a power struggle. They are waiting for you to apologize. Sounds like someone wants to win a grudge match. If someone went around my house not speaking to me for 3 days, I'd throw them out and lock the door.
