Try with the last disk.
But before trying, check if your disks are working (if you can view the files inside...)

yeah... first check out if the disks are ok

then, it might be that the restore disks can't be run through windows... you would need to use them as a boot disk..

check out if you have boot disks enabled in your comp...
when you start your comp... you will see "boot from CD... failed". if you don't have a valid boot disk or no disk in the cd drive....

If not, do the following to enable bootup from disks...

when you start your pc... enter the configure setup options... you generally have to press DEL or Alt+F2 to enter...

but make sure you don't mess up anything in this area... remember or write down every option that you change... so you can restore it in case of some error....

in these go through different sections unless you land up on boot device preference somewhere... here it should be
primary boot disk... CD-ROM or
secondary...

if it's not like this... just change it to put your cd drive as primary boot device and your Hard Disk as secondary boot device...
then keep your 1st disk in your drive and restart.

this should work...

It would help a lot if you just told us what OPERATING SYSTEM you have on your computer.

If you have XP which is now 5 years old all you have to do is
hit Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools and then RESTORE. Choose a date when your computer was working properly and it will restore to that DATE>
