You've hit the nail on the head!
After all the central message of the adam and eve myth is; don't seek knowledge, to do so is against the will of god.
So, stay ignorant and god will seem all that more plausible to you. It's an undeniable fact that people with higher IQ's and better education, realize that god is a myth. With no more substance than any other pixie, fairy or leprechaun...

That is not true. We are allowed to question. We should question. And whoever told you you will get to heaven by being 'good', is wrong. There is only one way to get to heaven and that is by accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior. After we accept Him, then our life changes and we strive to be good. But, we do not get to heaven by strictly being good and that's it. None of us are perfect, that is the exact reason why Jesus Christ died on the cross, was because all of us are sinners. I have questioned a lot. I happen to be very inquisitive and I am the person that bombards my bible study leaders with questions and I read as much as I can. I have read books that have claimed there is evidence for God and books that claim there is evidence that there is no God. Every question that I have asked I have found the answer to. In the bible. Believe it or not. The answers are in there. God bless you.

We will get the answer down here before we can go up there. Does a person have to see everything, No, You have a 30 fold, A 60 fold & a 100 fold Christian, A 30 fold will not see as deep into the scriptures as a 100 fold, neither will that 30 fold disagree with a 100 fold.

No and those "Christians" who tell you to just be good are in error. It is true, there are things we cannot know until later, but that does not mean we are not to be inquisitive and ask questions.
I believe God is pleased with our curiosity.
I think though there are somethings which simply cannot be answered until we are mature enough to understand.
Its like your 4 yr old asking how babies are made or some other question like what are clouds are made of. Often they are not ready to hear the complicated full answer, so a simplified shortened version is in order, or no answer for a time.

First, what you have been told about how to get to Heaven is incorrect. Doing "good" will not get you into Heaven.
"But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away."
- Isa 64.6
"There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God"
-Rom 3:10,11
Those who say doing good will get you into Heaven are mistaken. Granted, we are still to life a life doing good, but this is to bring glory to God. If we did good works to get into heaven, it becomes a competition, a matter of pride.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."
-Eph 2:8,9
As for what we will know in Heaven, I do believe that those who come to faith in Christ will have the ability to learn anything they want. We will not know everything, but with out glorified bodies, our minds will no longer be limited as they are now, and God will be able to grant us the knowledge we seek, by being inquisitive.
So those in Heaven will be inquisitive, as any thing we've ever wanted to know will be available to us.

In Isaiah 1:18-19 God speaking through Isaiah said:
"Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:"
In Isaiah 41:21 He also speaks
"Produce your cause, saith the LORD; bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob."
As a christian and a child of God you have unfettered access to God through Jesus Christ. You can talk to God about your problems, questions, and even doubts, thats why He is your father. The passages I mentioned above shows God desirous of serious relationship with man, even to the extent of reasoning with you. Now get this clear, God knows all things and has all answers, but he also expects faith and obedience to His word.
Afterall the place of a personal prayer and study life is to deal with such issues you just raised, even if the church you attend or your christian friends can't help you.
Caveat: You cannot really know everything but all you need to know as a christian, God will reveal to you. Thats why you need to study God's word to show yourself approved, a workman who is not ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2Timothy 2:15

There is NO afterlife and this is all ridiculous distortion of Jesus's teachings. Heaven and hell are on earth. As wisdom and discernment grows, as the real inner faith matures the answers DO come and you enter that sweet heaven zone HERE ON EARTH.
Likewise you can make yourself crazy and get to hell on earth.
Fortunately we are not locked in... but when you are DEAD you are DEAD.

I don't believe in that. God does answer us, Most just fail to hear Him:) I hear Him already and it's great. The answers will come to you when you read His word and get to know Him better as a God of Love:) in Christianity, we take it easy by trusting in Him and help others do the same. n_n By accepting Jesus we are saved.

You can question all you want as long as you believe in your heart Jesus is the path to heaven. It is human nature to question.
Addtionally, questioning makes us dive deeper into the word of God in the Bible for the answers, which is a good thing.

Sadly you have group all Christians in your post. I and many of my friends feel differently.
It's our nature to question. How else are we to learn if we don't seek answers?
I invite you to ask me any question. I will do my best to answer it and if I can't I will find one who can. My E-mail is open to you at anytime.
my very best to you and your journey.

Christ never said not to seek answers or ask questions. I know that in Catholicism you are not supposed to ask questions of doctrine or people in power, but biblical Christianity encourages people to seek what is true and study and get answers
