this person on here thinks on am skating on thin ice about my salvation. That does not help me. I am not perfect and it annoys me that some christians think you have to be perfect to get into Heaven. I am not perfect and niether is anyone else. So I wish christians would stop Judging other people, as they are not sinnless either. And they even deserve hell if Jesus did not come to die for the sins they would be going to hell So non Judgemental christians I love Jesus and the Father and they love me, but I do not go th church and I have my reasons, and therefore I do not tithe. This person on here who made that coment cannot Judge, it is Gods job, and besides the bible says he who has the Son has life and he who does not have the Son stands condemed. Who does this person think he is, for a starters he does not even know me or my heart fro God. Nor does he know about my salvation dream from Jesus I had early 2005 when I thought I was going to hell as I was a brand new christian then.

Jesus did call my name in the supernatural dream and after he called my name the words from Jesus were "I have called you by name, you are saved, your name has been written in the lambs book of life. I have called you into my kingdom and you are mine" So biblical. If I was not saved Jesus would not have wasted his time by giving that to me. Are you sick and tired of judgemental christians who know nothing?

I don't have a problem with that. I hope you give to charity or the needy in some way though.

There are judgemental people in all walks of life. Some happen to be Christians. When you are a Christian and you do something other's perceive as un-Christian like...they judge as well. So, it's really just a human trait and not to be taken to heart.
God wants all of us to be saved. Jesus tells us there is a hell and that some will go there. Actually, Jesus mentions hell more then he mentions heaven.
Your relationship with God is a journey. Many people have started that journey and stop along the way and set up house. They never progress further...they never go deeper. So they are stuck with telling other's do this and don't do that...but they have not traveled so far as to understand the deeper relationship with Christ.
People tithe out of love and a desire to make a sacrifice. I go to church every week and give the same amount each week. I see people sitting next to me, well dressed etc. put a dollar in the plate. But the point is...I don't know their heart or circumstances and that's between them and God...and has nothing to do with me.
We receive grace through our willingness to make sacrifices in the name of Jesus. Going to church isn't for the people around you and giving money isn't for them either...it's for you. It's between you and God.
There is a benefit to making that effort that isn't always immediately obvious. Just like going to school....looking back I can see the benefit an education has brought me...but it wasn't always so obvious, especially when I was immature.
So, God has called you by name...you will grow in him. Just keep focused on him and doing his will. Some people are sure they know the will of God, but as I said they have stopped in the journey and gone no further...therefore they have not grown.

I am sure there are many other Christians out there who do not regularly attend church for whatever reason. However, not going to church doesn't mean you cannot tithe. You could find a Christian ministry to support (a minister that you watch on TV, or one of those "adopt a child" type things) and give your tithe in that way.
Your salvation is between you and God....no one else knows what is in your heart. Can you be a Christian without going to church? I think you can.....but that's just my opinion.

Friend, I don't know who you are mad at, If someone talks about my salvation, It does not bother me one bit, After 37 yrs. of serving God, a person gets use to it. But now concerning you not going to church nor paying tithes, Turn to Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together as the manner of some is, But exhorting one another & so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. The only good excuse you can come up with is if there is not a church in your town that is not Preaching the truth.

I should say there are many people who lived an obedient life without going to church and never tithes. But am not saying that they don't have fellowshiping with other christian. Apostle Paul said in the scripture "forsake not the congregation of the saints'" that means we have to fellowship with other christian for the edifycation of the church.
However there are many churches who teaches heresy and wrong doctrine. for example tithing. we all know that this law apply only to the jews of their time, for the priest to have food in the temple. today the applicable one is GIVING.
Tithing is from the law, while giving is from the heart, thats why it is written "He who gives more received more".

The moment you accepted Jesus, you were saved already. Accepting Him means loving Him and loving Him means trying your best to follow what He taught. About the tithes, God sez test Him on that. HE will make u prosper when you give your tithes but you won't go to hell for not giving. It's just a duty for all Christians. Chill, don't focus on God's wrath but His love.:)

Of COURSE, going to church & tithing doesnt "save" you. But, it DOES say something about you. Jesus said, "Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also". So, where is your treasure? Regarding, "going to church": All christians are commanded to use their spiritual gift in building up the body of Christ. How can you obey in this, if you dont attend a "local body"? To put it as gently as I can, you are being dissobedient. And that is NOT "judging" you. The New Testement knows nothing of "Lone Ranger" christians......theBerean

It is not a must that you have to go to church but it can help you to grow in your faith. If it is the people attending that offends you go in just as the service begins and leave immediately when it ends. You and everything you own belongs to God and if God show you how to work for Him then it is between you and Him. Just remember that by talking to other believers it can make you stronger. Good Luck an God Bless

Christ never tells us to tithe. He tells us to give to the poor (all 4 Gospels). Thats it. He commands us to love one another. He does not tell us to fork over our cash or go to hell. This is a false doctrine that is used by some people to enrich themselves. In fact, Jesus teaches us NOT to do this in Matthew 23:23. Going to Church is important for fellowship, but is not essensial for salvation. It is encouraged, but the more important things are in the Matthew 23:23 verse.

Churchianity is a heathen religion. They don't follow Scripture. (most don't even pretend to). The Almighty set up three things to receive tithe. It paid for your pilgrimages to where His name is established. It supported the Levites. It helped widows and orphans. The Almighty YHVH set up a system. He sent His “Son” YAHOSHUA to die for the sins of mankind so they would not have to. (They could choose to, but did not have to). Any person who chooses not to allow Yahoshua to take care of their sins, chooses to remain attached to their sins. They thus will wind up in the lake of fire which is YHVH’s method of cleaning this world, and eliminating sin and sinners. The Creator set aside the Seventh day for rest and worship. Yes that is the day usually called “Saturday”. We are not saved by obedience, we are saved by faith. However we are saved FOR obedience. As He said in John 14:15 (and in many other places) “If you love me, keep my commandments.
Churchianity is a pagan religion. The only thing that will change a person is the indwelling savior Yahoshua. Obviously that is rare in this sinful world.

I agree, I am not really a Christian (mostly because of all the awful experiences I have had with evangelicals who all call themselves NON-DENOMENATIONAL). For being supposedly accepting of a variety of different beliefs, they sure are confident that their way is the only right way. I am leary of any group that calls themselves non-denominational now.
