how long does someone need to you if u want a passport signed, my husband had one done but only saying they have known him a year, will the passport office reject it

I believe they will refuse the application...the rules about who can sign have changed over the years......its no longer just police/vicar/doctor/jp....but also includes now civil servants of of a certain rank..and persons with proffesional qualifications eg certified accountants/engineers etc

The person needs to know you for at least 2 years before he can sign the photo. The Passport Office http://www.passport.gov.uk/ provides info on what is required to apply and on how to apply. Follow to them exactly and your application will be fine.

yes ! they have to have known you 2 years or more and they are very strict about everything my daughters photo was rejected 3 times for stupid reasons. if your unsure your post office will check it for you for a small charge. good luck

I am not completly sure but I think its four years... The passport form should advise you on how long... Hope this helps...

They wont reject it just dont mention it and they wont ask i had my boss do and i've only been working hear six months four atthe time hope this helps :0

three years but the person cannot be related to you. And i think they have to have a profession as well i.e. teacher, doctor etc
