What I mean is, there is the Old Testament, which happened before Jesus, and the New Testament, which happened in Jesus’ time. Why aren’t there any Testaments for what happened after Jesus? And I know there are parts which tell of what happened after his death, of him appearing to his disciples and all, but I mean other that that. You know, like a new-new testament.
And if there is, then please forgive me, I didn't know.

Maybe the author is dead, I think that may explain it......

Or,

Maybe it was not a Microsoft Product, and thus did not need constant upgrades to become newer versions.......

Hehehehe

Because the Catholic Church [who assembled the Bible in the 3rd century from random bits of *some* of the apostles writing (while ruthlessly supressing the writing of other apostles, like the gospel of Thomas, which was only recently recovered) ] won't allow it.

So, the only way to add more books to the Bible is to do the same thing the Christians did when they added their New Testament to the Jews' Old Testament: start a new branch.
The Muslims did this in the 7th century, and the Mormons did in the 19th century.

then theres the one true Bible of Bob. You can find that by doing a search on the Church of the Subgenius..

Jesus Christ brought in the grace age, & we are still living under the grace age, Now there are things that has never been recorded that will come to pass, Daniel had visions & was told to seal it up until the end time, & John The Revelator was also shown & heard things spoken & was about to write & he also was told to seal it up & write it not Until the endtime, when God will have a people on this earth that God will allow to see & hear what those things were, One thing is those 7 Thunders in Revelation, They are to be silent until the endtime, Those 7 thunders is none other than 7 men God will have here at the end of grace age that will utter something to the BRIDE only, & this can only come after the 7th seal is open & Christ is off the mercy seat.

Because the last book of the bible "Revelation" says not to "add to it, or take away from it". I believe that this not only refers to "Revelation" itself, but to the entire Bible. This can be seen from other statments in the New Testament. Gods "speaking" to mankind is finished. He has said all that He has to say. You either accept His Son, or you DONT. The Mormons try to get around this by adding "new" revelation, such as The Book of Mormon, Doctrine & Covenants, etc. But since, even a causual reading of those books show contradictions with the Bible, they obviously did not come from God. In effect, God says, "Im Done, YOUR move"......theBerean

As to what happened after the first century, its in the history books. In Revelation it says, there was a long (silence) in heaven for about half an hour. I think that referres to the last 2000 years. Perhaps God will raise saints up in our day to complete the book.

Various people have been coming up with "New" things all the time. Most of it is error, but some is accepted by various denominations. Almighty YHVH does not change. (His name doesn't change either) He sent the Savior YAHOSHUA to die for the sins of each of us. That is pretty much the final word. Unless you accept what He has already said, and accept the provision He has made for your life, You will not receive more enlightenment, and you will die in your sins. Sorry it sounds a bit harsh, but I am not authorized to water down the truth. How could YHVH be more generous?

because Jesus' disciples are dead already? it was said that when the disciples were writing the bible, God gave certain signals whether they should include something or leave it out, like thunder etc..

mybe people nowadays are so busy that they don't realize God's message. or with so many preaching and claiming that their's is the true religion, people are confused which to believe...

Simply because there is no need to add anything to the Bible. God fully revealed himself through his Son Jesus who is the fullness of revelation and Word of God made flesh.
That does not mean, however, that he no longer speaks to us. He sent us the Holy Spirit to guide us and help us communicate with him.
Have a blessed day!

Strange question.
Is it not obvious that the book was completed?
Nothing new needed.
Example:
Revelation 1:10 states: "By inspiration I came to be in the Lord’s day. . ."
That was John reporting the major events about a future time.
That time is now.
We have all we need.
