So many 'real-life' generals have ACTUALLY BEEN on Stargate SG1 - I'm wondering if that's how they cope mentally with what they have to deal with in REALITY - 'no smoke without fire' and all that.

Are we being told 'hypothetically' what is happening in reality through various SCi FI tv shows - as a way of dealing with the obvious mental strain of government/military personnel of having to continually keep secret any such POSSIBLE huge secrets?

"STAR GATE was one of a number of "remote viewing programs" conducted under a variety of code names, including SUN STREAK, GRILL FLAME, and CENTER LANE by DIA and INSCOM, and SCANATE by CIA. These efforts were initiated to assess foreign programs in the field; contract for basic research into the the phenomenon; and to evaluate controlled remote viewing as an intelligence tool. Don't know about Area 51, but the Bermuda Triangle has been said to be a Star Gate (Time Portal). There are also 'tales' of an entire Mayan civilisation vanishing all at once and that there were/are portals embedded (or cut into) the temple face.

As far as a 'Stargate' as depicted on SG1, with all the hieroglyphs and spinning, who knows?! Special Agent K says that the government tells us the truth by placing it in supermarket tabloids.

Sorry, no stargate, no funny men from Boswell, but Aria 51 is a real place located on the Navada test range at Nellis AFB.
Here is a 40 year old picture from Aria 51 so that you will have some idea of what it is all about.

When I was stationed at Area 51 I got drunk at the EM club. On my way back to the barracks I stumbled in to a dark alley door to take a whiz. Next thing you know I was standing near a golden pyramid. I whizzed on it turned around and walked back and was in the alley again.
But no I did not see any stargate.
