" indomethacin, other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), or intra-articular glucocorticoids, administered via a joint injection."
I don't believe there is a cure for chronic gout, but there is treatment that does help. If it causes you pain on a regular basis, then you should be given lortabs or an opiate to help relieve that.
Ice packs do help, so I'm told. Try to adapt a low-purine diet, avoid alcohol.
"The mainstay of this approach, however, is the drug allopurinol, a xanthine oxidase inhibitor, which directly reduces the production of uric acid. However, allopurinol treatment should not be initiated during an attack of gout, as it can then worsen the attack. If a patient is on allopurinol during an attack, it should be continued.
The decision to use allopurinol is often a lifelong one. Patients have been known to relapse into acute arthritic gout when they stop taking their allopurinol, as the changing of their serum urate levels alone seems to cause crystal precipitation.
Allopurinol and uricosuric agents are contraindicated in patients with kidney stones and other renal conditions."
"A strong natural cure is a berry extract supplement consisting of bilberry, blueberry or cherry extracts."
These fruits contain anthocyanins, which in the body metabolize as anti-inflammatorys. Also try green tea extract pills.
Hope that helps...

There is no cure for gout, all you got to do is eating low purine food. A good gout diet is:
Fresh cherries, strawberries, blueberries, and other red-blue berries
Bananas
Celery
Tomatoes
Vegetables including kale, cabbage, parsley, green-leafy vegetables
Foods high in bromelain (pineapple)
Foods high in vitamin C (red cabbage, red bell peppers, tangerines, mandarins, oranges, potatoes)
Drink fruit juices and purified water (8 glasses of water per day)
Low-fat dairy products
Complex carbohydrates (breads, cereals, pasta, rice, as well as aforementioned vegetables and fruits)
Chocolate, cocoa
Coffee, tea
Carbonated beverages
Essential fatty acids (tuna and salmon, flax seed, nuts, seeds)
Tofu, although a legume and made from soybeans, may be a better choice than meat
don't eat any beef, lamb, gray fish or shell fish.
there are medications on the marked what get you in 24 hours over an acute gout attack. There is also a medication to prevent gout but never take it during an attac.
I will not give you names of the products because in different countries they are marked under different names. See your GP for a prescription

Gout is a condition where uric acid crystals build up in the body.
This can happen in the area of the big toe and cause a lot of pain.
Our foods contain purines; some foods are higher in this than others.
The doctor may place you on a lower purine diet (of which they will usually provide you a list of foods to avoid. There is also medications that can lower the uric acid in the blood
Here an alternative way to cure gout?

My uncle suffered with it.
Diet: No citrus fruit(lemons and limes etc) or overdoing rich foods. NO CHEESE!! swap red meat for chicken and fish.
Alcohol: Don't drink on an empty stomach- avoid port and wines. Don't binge drink.
Medication: Your doctor should presribe anti inflammatory tablets- e.g strong Ibuprophen tabs.
Drink plenty of water!
Remember Gout is a form of arthritis, caused by too much uric acid in the blood- but is a disease of kings- so at least it's a posh ailment!!

If you know what triggers an attack then stay away from that..... It is Branston pickle for me and the only way I can get over an attack is to be put in a plaster cast!! You can also have medication from the Dr which helps but they don't like giving it to people under the age of 30 unless the gout is really bad.
When the pain is really really bad try and soak the joint in ice cold water, that sometimes helps.

Gout and Pseudo-gout are types of arthritis caused by the foralation of insoluable crystals in the SYNOVIAL FLUID of joints. Modifying of diet, in which the intake of certain types of animal protein is reduced in order to decrease the production of uric acid, can lower the risk of gout.
Insoluable uric acid crystals form in joints when blood levels of the subsance reach excessively high levels.
Inflammation, with its redness, swelling and pain, is often severe. Daily consumption of MANGOSTEEN can reduce recurrent attacks.
Facts:-
Inflammation is a process in which the body's white blood cells and chemicals attempt to protect us from bacteria, viruses and fungi.
Inflammation can be harmfull when the [eocess does not shut down after the danger has passed, resulting in healthy body tissue being damaged.
WHY TAKE A DRUG WHEN A FRUIT CAN DO THE SAME THING?
Using MANGOSTEEN to control inflammation should be
preferable to NSAIDS like Aspirin.

My husband has had gout badly and over the years we have managed to keep it under control in two ways. We have narrowed down what foods make it flair up (pineapple, pork, grapefruit) and he takes 2 Naproxen sodium tablets every morning. Not Aleve...just generic 220 mg Naproxen sodium tablets you can get from the pharmacy or at Walmart they are even cheaper. If he gets a flair up he can usually feel it coming on...soreness...heat etc then he takes 3 naproxen sodium tablets and then 2 tablets every 4 hours until the symptoms subside completely. You have to be aware of your body and catch it at the first sign as if it sets in it takes much longer to get rid of it. I hope this helps...gout is a terrible thing and I hope you feel better soon.

Some thyroid disorders can be cured, but many require lifetime treatment. Learn here https://tr.im/tqSqG
For example, sometimes early stage thyroid cancer can be cured by surgery to remove the thyroid gland, but you will need to take thyroid hormone medication afterwards for the rest of your life. Goiters can also be surgically removed and do not always recur after surgery. In most cases, thyroid disorders need treatment over a lifetime. However, with treatment most people with thyroid disorders can live normal, healthy lives.

If perhaps it's a fruit it includes seeds, otherwise it's a vegetable. And vegetables are usually grown in the ground while fruits are grown in trees.
