I raised my son up until last year by myself. I loved it don't get me wrong there was some tough times.I had to leave him at a sitters while I worked but the rest of the day it was just me and him.I believe women can be more patience and sensitive to their needs and that goes to say showing more sensitivity towards them. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying that there are not some men cut out to do it.Being just me and him my son has learned to be more helpful and responsible at an early age.Trying to help me out around the house and more independent.I really do a appreciate it his help. I tell him all the time.He has learned to be a hard worker and give his all watching me.The down side is he didn't really have anybody to wrestle with and let him be a rough and tough boy.I think he will make some girl a nice husband someday though.Have a nice day!

My parents were divorced and I spent the majority of my childhood raised by my mother. I saw that when things needed doing, mum did them. She didn't need a man to fix things, take out the rubbish, etc. Seeing how she was able to do everything herself made me believe there wasn't anything I couldn't do. Now in my 30's my husband works away from home so I do not feel in the least concerened by this. I know there is nothing I can't deal with on my own and he doesn't have to come home to a list of things needing to be done, because they're dealt with. I guess I was lucky that my mum showed strength when she was raising us on her own. Maybe if she hadn't, being raised by my mother would have turned out differently. I cannot speak personally for my brother, but from observation, he is a peacekeeper. He is also a wonderful father and spends time with his child. Not having a father constantly in his life has not prohibited him from being a great father.

All I can say that will be of help is to inform you all mothers are not created equal , so it would depend upon the individual mother and what she brings with her into parenting and shares with her child.

it really depends on how the mother is raising her children.some can turn out bad or good the same as if they had both parents its just how you raise them.

My opinion would be that they would be "more sensitive" to issues, have more of a nuturing side, and a better respect for women.
