Find a hobby or get a part time job. I was a stay at home mom after the birth of my first son. I did a lot of sewing. When the second son was about 3 and in pre-school a couple of days a week, I went to work part time. I only worked the days he went to pre-school. My job allowed me great flexibility and I was always home with the children. Just so you will know, I merchandise for a large company. I go in to the stores and stock the company's product. When the baby was in pre-school, (3 days a week for 3 hours a day)I would work a store. 18 years later, I'm still doing that same job only 4 days a week and several hours more a day.

I am a stay at home mom as well. I enjoy it. I do what I want when I want. I am alone for part of the day. But I have a doberman that is like one of my kids. She keeps me busy when the lil ones are in school. Also I own a few more pets that need me to care for them. When I am doing chores in the house I turn the radio up and have a good time. I try to go out at least once a day to the store or whatever. You need to have other ppl to talk too. I play a few on line games as well. Try to keep busy. Make it fun. Plan things to do with your kids, if you have any. Good luck!

I am a S.A.H.M. and I can relate to you loneliness. I suggest you continue chatting with people such as myself. In addition, take on a hobby. Try not to confine yourself to your home. Get out at least once daily whether it be to the supermarket, post office or just for a walk. You need to interact with other people or you will go nuts.

well, if u don't like being at home alone u have soooo many options. one of those is to go and get a job. another to get your fat butt off the couch and go for a walk ( i am not even mentioning gym), the third option for u is to get a baby. i can't imagine that someone can get bored being home alone. go read a book for pet's sake

How about just talking and finding out if its worth taking a risk of talking to someone else. I know that If I am going to take a risk of talking to someone of the opposite sex, they had better be worth the risk of getting caught. No I dont mean they have to leave or I have to leave their spouse but make sure that if you are going to get caught, that its really really worth it. You sure dont want to get caught for just talking........make it count but be sure its worth it in the first place
