I am wondering what/who Armadel is from the title of the "Grimoire of Armadel". Is it just Amateil/Amatiel pronounced differently, or is their a meaning. Any insight will be fine. Please dont tell me about the Grimoire, because I have a copy, Im just wondering where the name was taken from. Thanks.
(Those well versed in Solomonic Grimoires maybe able to help.)

There's another book I need to get... Mathers was such a digger! I think Armadel was a writer that Mathers sourced and that is all that is known of the fellow.

YOU AGAIN!
This time... Sorry I dont have a solid answer.
I shouldn't type "demon" or "witch" into the search options anymore. Ha ha ha
Amatiel is the angel of spring or something like that, I think I have read.
As for Armadel; what is your interest in the name, I read an answer of yours, refering to a dream where a voice claimed to be "Armatell", maybe your rant about it just being dreams is incorrect, maybe your thinking after getting to this Grimoire that their is actually and angel by that name, and Armadel, maybe what you heard, not amatell?
"Know where thou hath fallen." LOL
I will try and answer this for you, but you seem a bit more advanced than me, so, what do I get, other then bragging rights, if I answer this before you?
