i am trying to transmit "Hello" from PIC mc to PC , but hyper terminal is not showing anything, the transmit

pin on PIC is always showing high, can anybody help me to get the proper output "Hello" on hyper terminal. in between the PIC and PC i used Max233 level converter.

more details are needed. make sure its pinned out right. make sure the interrupt is enabled. make sure you are writing to the serial port register. make sure the pin is set up for output.

check your circuit diagram again
you may have connected the transmit pin to the dc supply by mistake
