In most parts of the country, yes it's safe. There may be a few exceptional regions in which attacks on trains still happen.

No ,because the duty hours of a pilot of indian railway is not fixed up by the railboard. So a pilot performed his duty 18 hours and more without latrine , bathroom and food. So' indian railways journey is totaly totaly unsafe for passenger.

Yes true but I am definetely warning about its signals I had missed my friends marriage., due to this signals the train was not at time. 2 hours late.

Certainly, it's safe. Accidents, mishaps can happen in any mode of transport........including the space shuttle, too.

it depends on where you are going, how long the journey is etc etc..its basically safe but no one should wear very costly ornaments
or carry big amount of cash openly.
