Romance is not out fashion but todays society wants everything perfect immediately, and I think that 'casual sex' can be explained by people that take the opinion that if you try it all you're bound to find what you're after eventually.
I've looked around enough to know
That you're the one I want to go through time with.
-- Jim Croce
It was in the news recently that human beings absorb 250 times more information in one day that a person would have 100 years ago. It is no wonder that we have no time to spend on each other! It would be so much simpler if people realised that merely offering a minute of yourself slows your day down so much!
We find rest in those we love, and we provide a resting place in ourselves for those who love us.
-- Saint Bernard of Clairvaux
Also, I believe that we have each forgotten that we are not the only person on this earth. Everything we do is aimed at self preservation, self motivation, self improval; if we could remember that we are improved by sharing ourselves we could grow.
I love you not only for who you are, but for what you are when I am with you. I love you not only for what you have made of yourself, but what you are making of me.
-- Roy Croft
And lastly, (and I don't know who said this one!):
We don't fall in love when we find the perfect person, we learn to love an imperfect person perfectly.

If romance is out of fashion, you can call me square, I think you should make a special effort with your girlfriend to make her feel special everyday.
Remember lads romance is not dead, you just have to listen and do a little thing to remind your special women that you love her everyday.

It may not be 'fashionable' but I like to believe it still exists. Perhaps it's because it's something special between two people and not 'advertised' like casual sex.

it hasn,t in my house, we are both in a second time round situation and you realise you have too keep the romance going, and that just sex can get boring its so nice too be told you,re loved before during and after sex and sometimes just a huge cuddle and a snuggle on the sofa a good conversation can give the best orgasm!!!!

i think the rest of the world is more interested in sex, but i would prefer a romantic walk on the beach as the sun sets with someone i really love, than having sex just for the sake of it

It depends if you have found the right person. if you have found the right person then the love with never die. but if you haven't found the right person then it will never be more than lust and casual sex
Good Luck x

In this fast-paced world it's sad to see that even that aspect in our lives has been sped up!!!
We are in the age of the quickie. It's just to easy to move on w/o baggage!
