Does anyone know how to find a good doctor? I am a person with multiple health issues and I have a new issue of PAIN.. crippling pain. It began in my back and now it has gone into my legs, arms, neck etc... I can hardly move. I've had all the tests, MRI, CScan, Xrays, blood test with no abnormal results other that moderate arthritis in my spine. this all began about 2 years ago. But when I go to my Dr. he looks at me like I am nuts and thinks that I am imaginating it all. What can I do. He just doesn't seem like he wants to help me, and I usually end up leaving his office in tears. I should probibly mention that I am Diabetic, I have pvc's and heart pauses, and Low immunity.

I too have the came conditions as you and more. First, try going to a university hospital and the pain management department. They will be more apt to try things that will help and they will have seen problems like yours. If you don't have a university hospital, find a pain clinic or pain specialist at your local hospital.

The best way I have found to find a good Doctor is by referral of a friend or relative who's judgment I trust. Sorry that you are feeling so down when you leave your Doctor. You should let you Doctor know how you feel about the visits. He probably just doesn't know what is happening. Has anyone mentioned Fibromyalgia ? It is not widely understood and hard to diagnose. It is characterized by widespread pains. If your Doctor says he isn't able to do anything you might ask him who he would recommend. Good Luck, hope you find out what is wrong soon.

Have your new Md read as well as you.
There is a book that teaches about muscles, pain and referred pain anywhere in the body. The principle is that the muscles get knots called trigger points which make the muscles tight that then press on nerves. It teaches how to get them to release which gets rid of the pain.
The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies.
I also use a chiropractor and massage therapist as needed.

Low immunity start taking a refrigerated (because they are best) pro-biotic to replace the ones that antibiotics have killed.

Consider (check for interaction) turmeric, grapefruit seed oil, or candex - they are antiyeast, antifungal, antitoxins. If none of these work activated charcoal won't interact but may decrease the effectiveness of the insulin

The problem with doctors is that they don't exist any more. A doctor was in the first place a person who listened at you comforted you and healed you. he cannot do this in the 5 minutes he or she is allowed for a patient. Sorry but the art of healing changed the last half a century in the art of making money.

It would help if you said what area your in. But I did find you this:

Conduct an instant national search for doctors, dentists, chiropractors and nurses across several specialty areas. Check out their credentials, including general contact information, education and license details.

Nearly 100,000 sanctions and disciplinary actions exist for health care providers throughout the country. Before entrusting your health and your family's health to a health care provider, confirm the provider you selected has an active license and clean credential history.

The best way to go about finding a doctor is ask your family and friends who they go to and if they like them.
The next is just pick one and lay it on the line what your wants and needs are.
Good Luck
