Which would you prefer?
"The Kingdom of God is among you...." or
"The Reign of God is in you..."

Both are synonimous... However, those who are sensitive on the use of language will find "Kingdom" as patriarchal and connotes masculine supremacy. Reign is therefore more inclusive. I would prefer "The Reign of God" instead of the "Kingdom of God." I think Jesus intends God to reign in our lives.

"The Kingdom of God is among you" would gives a more accurate rendition of this verse than "in your midst" or "within you" as some translations show. Jesus was speaking to the Pharisees and they surely didn't have that kingdom within them. Luke 17:21. Christ the promised King of Gods Kingdom was there among them.
The Kingdom of God is a reign or rulership. The reign of God denotes the rulership of God rather than The Kingdom itself. The reign of Gods Kingdom compliments itself rather than the reign of God's Reign which is confusing.

It's the same thing, a matter of translation only. A kingdom implies a form of reign. And there is nothing to reign about if you do not have a kingdom.

this (?) is pointless cos jesus said my kingdom is not of this world. so his kingdom is a spiritual kingdom. no new laws , i have not come but to fulfill the law of moses.
