The first 2 nights we have the 'seder' which is made up of a few things such as reading the story of passover, having a meal, eating symbolic foods such as matza (unleavened bread), marror (bitter herbs), charoses (mix made from nuts, apples and wine) and potato, onion or celery dipped in salt water. We also drink 4 cups of wine and at the end welcome in the prophet Elijah. Passover lasts for 7 days and throughout passover we do not eat chametz (leaven-bread products, etc). Other than that, there is not much else done.

The answer is: Passover.

Basically, Passover is celebrated today and is similar to Passover in Temple times, minus an actual Passover sacrifice. 7 days in Israel, 8 outside israel, Matzo consumed, Seder observed, 4 cups of wine drunk.

It's the same traditional "seder" (like the "Last Supper" Jesus participated in) that has been going on for many centuries.

This meal consists of symbolic foods, such as dried bread and bitter herbs to remind people of the bondage in Egypt.

The same as they have been for centuries. The Seder. It's fun. Lots of food, wine, and some ransom.
