Why are some men attracted to older women?

I know age doesn't really matter but why is it that some men are more attracted to older women? (Other than sex or money)

I am a 40 year old woman and my fiance is 23. I have asked him many times why are you with me and are you ashamed of our age difference. He says that he loves me because he thinks I am a very strong woman that has already been down the unknown road of uncertanty of wondering if one man is better than the other, if one is more attractive than the other, and that I also have the experience to know what I want. He says he loves the fact that un like younger women dont have to be the center of attention nor do I walk around thinking Im just too cute. I geuss all in all they love older woman because we know what we want and we are not always on the lookout for a cuter, hunkier, richer guy. When a man treats us good we know hes the one without a doubt and we put all our love into that one man because we have all we need with our younger partner and they feel more secure with a woman who makes them feel special. My 23year old makes me feel more like a woman than any man ever has. He says I make him feel the same way because we have true love that doesnt see age it only sees that we were truly made for eachother. I just wish everyone any age can have what we have. I can't think of any reason other than sex or money that a guy would be attracted to an older woman. Well actually it depends on how much older the woman is. If it's only a few years difference in age then it's probably just a normal attraction. However if there is a difference of 10 years or so between them chances are the motivations are either sex, money, or both.

Men in their late teens to 20's are in their sexual peak while women reach their sexual peak in their 30's. This makes for some very powerful sexual chemistry. Or there are some men who are sexually submissive and possibly even have an oedipal complex and are therefore attracted to women who remind them of their mothers.

Money is also a strong motivator for getting involved with someone of a greater age difference. The man could see the relationship as an opertunity to have financial stability without having to actually earn it on his own. This also can be oedipal as well since such a man may like the idea of having a woman that takes care of him.

some men are momma babiesand want someone that can treat them just as good. but then again some men want the attention that older women give then because the are older and feel like they are not as young so they do alot to keep that young guy around that makes her feel special and some men want an older woman to teach and experience things sexually

I think some men enjoy the nurturing security of an older woman,some men enjoy being with someone experienced...less likely to be jealous...there's lots of reasons.

Its because they have been through the wars and they know what they want. This makes them more forward and direct to
say what they want to avoid the games......aggressive women are always more attractive then less aggressive ones.
