If you have to, go to a feed supply shop and get a live cat trap. Put some wet food in it, and then capture it that way. Only put food inside the trap. You will get your kitty back, safely and without harm.

Don't worry, my kitten went somewhere in the house and was gone for almost a day, at first we were really worried then we saw him walking up to us as if nothing had happened. Just leave the door open and leave some food... im sure she'll come out eventually.

Just leave the basement door open and leave out fresh food, preferably tuna or something with an odor that will draw her out. Also don't be to worried cats can hide in some of the weirdest places and you can walk right by them and never notice.

put out a bowl of milk, you cant force a cat to love & get to know you. It takes time. If you were in a cage, you would like freedom too!
