Dog Fluid Build up?

what would cause fluid to built up around my dogs stomach causing it to extend and feel hard. He had hearthworms 5 years ago he was treated and recovered. Also will he always test possitive for H/W's. he's 10 yrs old. THANKS,,, nao

There are homeopathic vets who can treat your dog for such conditions. Look for one near your area. Dogs are similar to us in many respects and fluid build up can occur due to ascites or kidney problems etc.
