I have liked a guy for a while, and he told my friend that his parents don't allow him to date so he can't see me (we are at an age when this makes sense). Lately, though, we have been talking more and smiling and glancing at eachother. is this just because he knows I like him or is it possible that he likes me? We are both really competitive in school with eachother. I can't seem to find enough confidence to go up to him and say hi all the time, and if I do, I can never think of any good conversation. can you help with these 2 problems?

what's ur age again? i think u just gotta be natural, just be yourself. talk to him like u're very comfortable with him. if he's not allowed to date, then hang out just like ordinary friends. some time later u both will know ur true colors. well if u really like him just tell him. just a thought. :)

Welcome to young love---attractions are just getting noticed and social graces have to be learned----so learn to be confident, and nice--say hello and make light conversation...nothing difficult about it..and you cannot just disappear from the face of the earth over this. Like or dislike doesn't matter--it is a maturity thing---and a confidence issue--so stand tall, work hard in school and learn to smile and be nice to everyone---say hi and keep moving. No need to say anything if you have nothing to say--you will get better as time goes on---so get a grip and get on with your day. Learn to be self confident and speak up, too. good luck

Ok, No matter how old you are you can still have good friends. SO if you want to have your parents trust you have to be honest about everything. So if you want His Parents Trust be honest.. So if you are (friends) this will solve this problem. You can still be together until you are old enough to date. Friendships become relationships, and Relationships come Comitments. First things first

it sounds like he likes you. You should look for things you have in common and talk about that. You should smile more and let him come up to you to talk and make the first move.
