Doesn’t it seem like the most spiritual people are also often the most patient?

Patience is a virtue is the cliche and a true one the mind also functions better without anxiety and frustration , but in calmness of a patient reduced stress. this is a fact . thus we have some of the prerequisite for an intelligent spirit .

You don't always get your answers right away, it often takes time. If you had little patience you would give up imediatly, those that persist see that their prayers get answered.

Patience is a construct defined by patterned religion. Not so with Discordianism. You can have everything all at once!
