Not enough information here--but generally you seem to have a self esteem problem, generated by others who are way too judgemental and open to saying these things. You need to stop---stand tall, be proud of who you are, take on things you can do reasonably well, and feel good for trying. No one can say or expect anymore from you. You need to get new friends...friends accept someone for who they are----and do not say mean spirited things about being dumb---you are not, so don't listen to them. Ignore it and be proud to be you. no. if you were really dumb, they wouldn't want to hurt your feelings and tell you because that would be like picking on somebody who is mentally challenged. So they are just being mean. Don't listen to them, and don't ask people if your dumb. Love yourself.

The only thing that would make you appear dumb, is to believe and let other "people" classify you as such. If "you" think you are inadequate, simply step your game up and be the best at what you do know!
