I like this girl. However, since she heard about it, she has been avoiding me ever since. I understand that I cannot expect her to like me in return, but I'd just like to be able to talk to her.

What can I do about this? I understand that "giving up" is a great solution, but is there anything else that could work? Please don't tell me she's not worth it, because she really is a very nice person.

Sorry if I wasn't clear, but this girl will not talk to me AT ALL, since this happened. All I'm trying to do is for her to accept me as a friend again.

ok, if she is a very nice person, y cant keep ur good friendship with her? she is nice, so she can understand all. and willing to see ur compromise and gentle.

u know love cant be forced. if she really dont have tat kind of feeling with u, why you have to get some result from her? if u just want to talk to her, the best way is being friends with her.

and be sure u know wat is the defination of friendship, dont try to ask her too much personal stuff coz u r just her friend. only if u can maintain the balance, then u wont loose her..

best luck,

she may be nice, but if you go looking for her, not only will you make yourself seem desperate, but you'll make her feel extremely uncomfortable. she is avoiding you for a reason. take that as a sign not to pursue this, unless, like I said, you want to seem desperate.
if you are in high school (which I wouldn't doubt) this is something to expect from girls this age. meh, she'll get over it and you'll be able to talk to her. if you want, just get her alone and tell her to that you just want to be friends or something lame like that so she'll at least give you the time of day to talk to you. it's probably the least she could do (well other than not to talk to you).

Maybe she does not want to get in a relationship. Just try being friends with her.

Why don't you talk to one of her friends and ask for an email adress or im and talk to her online...maybe she feel unconfortable to talk to you in person...just be patient and give it time
