Hi, it is true that there are many mainurists in Bangkok already. Along the main roads, at street corners, you can see a simple table set-up doing this for the school girls from nearby schools. Plus in the shops, most levels have a few of them around. Not to mention in the hair salon, massage parlours. This is just something common there. And the pay will be lower than what you will be getting in Malaysia.
Why not consider going to Singapore where this job is still booming and coming up? You may be able to earn more there.

Since you mention that you are a Manicurist, why go Bangkok cos there are so many over there????
I would suggest you dun even go to HK and ShenZhen cos there are really so many there too...
Think of another industry, maybe..

Thai labor law will not allow you to get a work permit so you would have to come on a tourist visa and work illegally. You risk deportation and your income would be lower than available in Malaysia.
Not really a viable plan.

you have one manicurist for every bar girl in Thailand, not worth going there just for that. How about Finance Ministry they really need one.
