"Dr. Phil said...." Is that a question or just a statement? Do you want validation for what you think or for what Dr. Phil said? In fact, among real psychologists, "Dr. Phil" is not necessarily highly regarded as a source of very much. He has never written a clinical article (addressed to other psychologists), nor does he empirically validate anything that he says or does...opinions all the way. And you know what they say about opinions? They're like a certain bodily orifice...everyone has one.

I don't believe that...maybe people already have a idea of what they are going to do, but if they are taking the time to ask, I would imagine that they are taking the time to take the answers into consideration. Asking questions here is finding a impartial third party to gather their viewpoints of a situation you many be too close to see for what it is. P.S. don't listen to Dr. Phil and take that as the truth!

Dr. Phil is full of crap 90% of the time, heheh. Sometimes, if you think deeper about what he's saying and talking about, it's really bad advice. Sometimes it is better than most others wannabe's, but on average, he cracks me up. He needs makeover. We ask questions to get answers and live our lives.
