I have seen this cake sold in the bakery section at Wal-Marts nationwide for years. It is always baked in a tube pan and packaged upside down in a plastic tube pan. It's about 3-4" tall and the glaze/frosting has a grainy sugary texture. It is not flipped upside down and then glazed like most Bundt/tube pan cakes. It is frosted just as it came out of the oven. It has a deep yellow color which I suspect comes from food coloring. I have tried with other lemon cake recipes but they never come out with the right lemony taste and texture. This cake is thick and crumbly like a pound cake (it's nothing like an angel food cake), but it is also light. It's very sweet and moist and literally melts in your mouth like sugar. I have searched the Internet upside down for this recipe with zero results. Help!!!
