bananas or problay the easiset to do slice thin uniform in size and single layer not touching one another hope your dryier is electric . or puree fruit and honey or sugar to taste and cut out heavy plastic to fit inside dryer place fruit puree on top and cook when sticky yet pliable you have fruit leather. apple chips or tomatoe chips are really good also make beef jerky or candied salmon i l;ove dried foods.

plug it in put the thinly sliced fruits and veggies on the plastic racks wait like 6 - 10 hrs OR line a baking sheet with wax paper and put into oven at 200 until dry less time then bag them up. in the dehydrator the heavy fruits like apricots go on bottom racks as the coils are on bottom.. in the oven it dont matter.i bought an electric dehyrdrator and found the oven to be cheaper to use and more efficient and faster.
