You think by now that teams would realize that it is next to impossible to get away with cheating in the Nextel Cup - what gives with all the teams getting busted before the first official race?

For some reason the teams think that Daytona and the Charlotte allstar race are cheating grounds.
With the controversy on cheating this year maybe NASCAR needs to change the rules and state that if a team is caught cheating the full team is banned from the event, driver, crew cheif, crew, owner, car. With the tight dollars from sponsors and the big buck sponsors don't you think that they would be in the owners face and want to know what is going on.
Yes one of my favorites would be sent hame this race if this were a rule but oh well he deserved it since the team did something that violated NASCARS rules.

Remember before they really never did do nothing. Now suspensions, and minus points for the start of the racing season. Like the paper said, one cheater might have not been too bad, but 4 I think, caught cheating, and the drivers get the big weinie too. I love it. If they cheat and win and do not get caught they get all the benefits. But if they got caught before they did not really lose nothing. Now I hope to see the next cheaters get race suspension and that will really hurt the pocket book and sponsorship. Do you think Bud Lite want their label on a team caught cheating? I watch racing and hope there is an accident. No fun to watch a clean race. Now I can Really read the sports and see what happens to the racing team. I love it.

Some of the rules have changed slightly since last year. Some of the things that these guys got busted for, were not that big a deal in the past. "The rear spoiler was 1/100th of a degree to high. Lets take 100 points." Every team tries to bend the rules a little, and these guys got caught. It happens.

Nascar is getting very nit-picky. There are more rules than ever before. I'm tired of it. I want to see the guys go as fast as they can, regardless. And get rid of the restrictor plates. Lets get back to "Old School".
