Yes. Some are better than others. SOme are scratchy enough that they will actually scratch your skin. Some are so gentle they don't really do much.
I use the St Ives apricot medicated scrub at least every other day.
It's made with ground up apricot kernels in a creme base. Lathers up nicely, rinses easily, and it doesn't leave my face feelling raw.
I use a body scrub that is made with salt too. I do that one about once a week.

Nu Skin has a product that will help prevent and clear up existing breakouts and will not dry your skin out at all. It is very effective on blackheads, red skin, and there aren’t any shiny effects.

It's awesome! I am on hormone pills, so my skin changes all the time and I still never have a problem.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don't use apricot scrubs!!!

The little bits of shell are jagged and dig into your skin causing little tears that can spread infection making your skin worse. Scrubs should have little round balls or use a chemical exfoliator like alpha hydroxy, papaya or other acids. These are especially good if you have active break outs because you won't break open pustules and spread bacteria. I know lots of magazines recommend these scrubs, but they pay to have their endorsement. Please be gentle with your skin!
