Protein in the urine can mean a urinary tract infection. Bacteria is composed of protein. If you have this, I would get it checked out. Good luck.

Dehydration, no. NSAIDs, yes. They can cause kidney damage (usually when taking chronically at high doses, but on occasion acutely) and subsequently proteinuria.

Never heard of such a thing, but protein in urine can sometimes indicate a bladder infection.
