This is gunna sound weird, but i had this happen late at night and all i had in the house was a can of spaghettios. Obviously this contains tomato juice, but it worked! I bathed her in it. what a mess... but in an emergency,, id definitely do it again. And Do Not spray chemicals, such as spray deodorizers on your dog. This can irritate their skin, and be toxic because they may lick it.

Use any BUT aluminum bowl to Mix 1/4 cup of baking soda per bottle of household hydrogen peroxide and a teaspoon of grease cutting dish soap.
Use while it is foaming, to sponge dog thoroughly. Use a sponge to wipe face, and keep out of eyes. Allow to set for at lest 5 minutes and rinse well....Use a conditioner to restore skin oils.
the only time this won't work, is if you don't let it set at least 5 minutes before rinsing.

There are several common remedies that you can put together at home with varying degrees of success. A tomato juice rinse will help a bit if you can't get the other ingredients right away. Better than tomato juice is rinsing in liquid or reconstituted Masengill. Selsun Blue shampoo also helps.
Use Febreze for the home..

My vet told me to use febreeze, just make sure you dont spray it in their eyes, a cheaper method for the dog is to give them a tomato juice bath. the acid in the tomato juice neutrilizes the skunk smell. hope this helps. and febreeze does wonders for skunk smell in your house!

Petsmart sells some thing somewhat for skunk scent remover. can not undergo in suggestions the call even though it is interior the grooming isle. different puppy grant chains in all probability sell the comparable element. so some distance as interior the abode is going, open the abode windows and desire for the ideal - spray quite some FEBREZE. Use the puppy scent type i assume. till he rubbed on your furniture, you in basic terms would desire to watch for it to expend. If he rubbed on some thing, attempt spraying it with NaturesMiracle. That stuff removes each little thing and neutralizes enzymes that reason scent. They sell that at Petsmart as nicely.
